You Don’t Drown By Falling In The Water, You Drown By Staying There.

We all fall in the water sometimes, whether that’s financial, mental or spiritual.

It’s part of the human experience.

No matter how far you submerge yourself or for how long, always remember you can kick and swim your way back to the surface. That air you gasp into your lungs will be invigorating and more energising than ever before.

Your decisions, backed by belief (not hope or wish, a strong conviction) to overcome adversity, is the first step in that climb.

Everyone has their struggles. Mine has been a mental one at times, with confidence and self-esteem issues.

I had to make a decision to focus on it, and be proactive, in order to overcome it.

Do things that increase your mood, cut out negative people and find things that lift you up.

Get a coach, mentor or teacher, cultivate a good support structure of family and friends, people who inspire, motivate and empower you to live your best self.

Work on your physiology and health, by going for walks, taking up active hobbies, eating the right foods, going to the gym, playing sports or exercising.

The decisions you make, and the thoughts you have, are hugely influenced by your state; which is your physiology, what you are focusing on, and how you talk to yourself.

Your feelings and emotions which drive behaviour are based on your state.

If you can manage state, then you can consistently make better decisions and produce more positive thought patterns and habits, which will lead to you swimming back to the surface quicker.

Change your physiology by changing your posture, body language, the way you walk, your facial expressions and how you breathe.

These are all things you can change to improve your state instantly.

Combine this with focusing on where you want to be (financially, mentally, spiritually) and how you talk to yourself, and you will increase your ability to make powerful decisions, and actually follow through with those decisions by taking the actions needed to get you there.

So no matter where you are, or what you are going through, there is always a way to get back to undrown yourself.

Powerful change is possible with the right strategies. Give it a try today. Be congruent with your physiology, focus and how you talk to yourself internally.

You don’t drown by falling in the water, you drown by staying there.

It’s time to swim back to the surface.
