LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF

From as early as I can remember, I’ve always enjoyed helping people and I have a great compassion for others.

A few years back I transitioned from a well-paid job as a software tester (it left me feeling unfulfilled) and I took a leap of faith to follow a dream and vision of mine to become a full time life coach. It was a tricky transition, but a fun journey also. It led to a lifestyle of freedom, allowing me to do what I love: coaching and teaching dance (which is another passion of mine and something I do for fun). I would consider myself a success in my vocation, as I’m proud of that achievement. If you have been following my posts recently, you know that success is a very subjective term and defined by each person as success is the accomplishment of a goal or aim. I achieved my goals when I launched my coaching business and dedicated myself to it 100%.

I love setting goals, as I know that’s a huge part of the process, and I have accomplished most of the goals I have set myself so far (there will always be more). Being goal-orientated is a healthy way to achieve more and to provide purpose and passion, and to get the results I want from life. Just working towards goals makes me happy. It’s not always about achieving them right away, it’s something to work towards and it gives me focus and determination. There’s a great quote from Earl Nightingale which says, “Don’t let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it. The time will pass anyway; we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use.”

I was always a very shy, introverted and quiet person growing up. It took me a while to find my voice, and I’m still working on it at times. I came to realise that being shy and quiet stemmed from low self-esteem and never feeling good enough. But, I knew there was more to me than just sitting in the corner being quiet and working a mundane life. The world can teach you to become cold and distant, to protect or close yourself off from life and become apathetic. That’s not a good place to be if you want to get the most out of life and live with a sense of curiosity and adventure. I now get my sense of fulfilment, purpose and happiness from helping others achieve success, in business and life.

I realised that taking risks and challenging myself was one of the best things I could do. There have been many moments where I had to step out of my comfort zone to grow, and I want to help others do the same. I now own a life coaching business, I have two e-books sold around the world and I help people who are ready for change. I understand that individuals can have a positive impact on the world around them by living their truth and living a life by design, a life they have chosen to live. That’s it for now, just a few insights into who I am and what I’m about. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to comment below or PM me, I welcome all conversations.
